The attempt to recall six Colorado Springs School District 11 board of education members failed, with petitioners not handing in signatures. The recall was over decision to close a high school, two elementary schools and sell two defunct schools.
Petitioners needed about 15,000 signatures per. They claimed they were close, but of course didn't hand in petitions.
